10 Matches We NEED To See At WWE SummerSlam 2021

9. SmackDown Tag Team Titles: The Mysterios (c) Vs. The Usos

Similarly to AJ Styles and Omos, Rey and Dominik Mysterio are yet to do anything meaningful during their reign as SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Considering the first thing you think of them as champions is Rey's Hell In A Cell match vs. Roman Reigns, it's a shambles.

The Mysterios are the WWE's first father and son duo to lift the tag titles. You'd think the company would make something more of it, rather than *checks notes* their first defence being a handicap match.

Step forward, Jimmy and Jey Uso.

Now, yes, the Usos have previously challenged Rey and Dominik for the blue straps, losing twice on the 4 June edition of SmackDown, albeit once was by disqualification. As of writing, the twins aren't currently on the same page, with Jimmy refusing to properly side with Roman Reigns. The end goal for this story arc is surely the Usos getting back on the same page, and dominating Friday nights' doubles division alongside 'The Tribal Chief', and if this report by WrestlingNews.co's Paul Davis is anything to by, that will happen by SummerSlam.

The logical step following this would be for Rey and Dominik to begin teasing their inevitable retirement storyline for Rey. There's potential in a heel Dominik Mysterio.
