10 Misfit WWE Tag Teams That You'll Never Forget

Having already teamed up with a variety of misfit partners by 1999, Mick Foley was amassing a growing list of successful tag teams to his wrestling resume. From Mikey Whipwreck and Terry Funk to Steve Austin and Kane, Foley didn't discriminate when it came to targeting Tag Team gold. Yet, out of all the partners he ever had, none was more memorable than The Rock.

Billed as The Rock 'n' Sock Connection, the WWF's odd couple took the promotion by storm in '99, winning the Tag Championships on three occasions. The team also went on to produce one of the most memorable moments in the history of Raw, with the iconic "This Is Your Life" skit on 27 September 1999. The segment achieved a colossal 8.4 rating, drawing one of the biggest numbers in WWE TV history.

WWE have attempted to recreate the moment several times since - including Rock presenting Foley with his own "This Is Your Life" moment in 2004 and Foley doing the same for John Cena during the Cena/Rock feud in 2012. Nevertheless, nothing has ever compared to the original.

After last teaming in 2000, Foley called upon The Rock once final time in 2004 and the tumultuous twosome went out in style at WrestleMania XX.
