10 Misfit WWE Tag Teams That You'll Never Forget

5. Owen Hart & Yokozuna

By WrestleMania XI, Yokozuna was a two-time WWF Champion, a Royal Rumble winner and had headlined the previous two WrestleManias. Meanwhile, Owen Hart was 1994 King of the Ring and narrowly missed out on the WWF Championship himself when he wrestled his brother, Bret, in a five star match at SummerSlam that year.

With solo success in abundance on both sides, few could have foreseen a Tag Team Championship run in either man's immediate future... and even less would have guessed it would be with each other.

Nevertheless, the team made their tag team debut at the 'Showcase of the Immortals' in '95. Owen chose the gargantuan sumo as his mystery partner and the newly formed super team walked away with the gold in their first outing.

The athletic, charismatic 'Rocket' was the perfect ying to Yokozuna's yang and the two meshed incredibly well for such a bizarre pairing. Even more unusual was the fact that Yoko had two managers at the time, making each match a four man master plan of Machiavellian scheming.

The marriage worked and, for six months, Owen and Yoko held the Tag Team Championships, before eventually losing them to Diesel and Shawn Michaels.
