10 Misfit WWE Tag Teams That You'll Never Forget
6. Kane & X-Pac
Kane and X-Pac are possibly the best visual example of a misfit tag team. Kane was a no-nonsense, killer mute that looked like he belonged in a horror movie, while X-Pac looked like the kind of chilled out, stoner that would rent you that horror movie. Nevertheless, never judge a book by its cover, as they say, and the combination of little and large proved to be an effective mix.
After befriending Kane during a temporary hiatus from D-Generation X, X-Pac gained the trust of the 'Big Red Machine' and the two began to tag together. Accompanied by Kane's kayfabe girlfriend, Tori, the duo defeated Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart after WrestleMania XV on the 5 April 1999 edition of Raw.
The two proved to be a lethal combination in the ring and the combination of X-Pac's agility and speed with Kane's strength and power spelled disaster for anyone that stood across the ring from them. Nevertheless, the team eventually lost to the formidable pairing of The Acolytes.
Inevitably, DX reformed and X-Pac turned on his big, red buddy in favour of his old green and black degenerates. Taking Kane's girlfriend with him along the way, the two would feud into 2000, culminating at WrestleMania.
