6. Khabib Numagomedov Submits Conor McGregor At UFC 229
After all the build-up, the fight between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov delivered in a big way, with an entertaining scrap that saw the Russian utilise his incredible grappling skills to secure a decisive submission victory in the fourth round.
Sometimes though, the conclusion of a fight does not mark the end of a feud between fighters, as would immediately become evident when Herb Dean pried Khabib off the Irishman after the fight.
The UFC Lightweight Champion clearly had taken exception to some of the comments made by McGregor's corner during the bout, and wasted no time jumping outside the Octagon to engage in a brawl with the Notorious' seconds.
Nurmagomedov's corner also clearly decided they wanted to get involved in the action, with members of his team scaling the cage to try and attack McGregor, in a situation that proved to be a serious black eye for the UFC.
