10 Modern WWE Moments You Totally Don't Remember

3. Shelton Benjamin Knows Something You Don't Know

In July of 2019, Shelton Benjamin started to smile mysteriously on SmackDown. It was as if he was privy to certain information that he found titillating, or of some benefit to himself and nobody else.

"I know something you don't know..." he seemed to be intimating with those shifty eyes.

"...and you'll never find out because this bullsh*t is nailed on to be dropped after two weeks."

He was asked the question "Who do you think will win the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules?"

When pondering the choice between Kofi Kingston and Samoa Joe, a smile crept over his face. He was hiding something, and it may very well have been contempt at the way in which they had built the challenger. Or perhaps he was smiling at the thought of interfering in the match himself, thus drawing him into the title picture, since it's been established through Joe and Dolph Ziggler that it is that f*cking easy. If you're a new piece of "Performance Center property," don't bother wondering when a spare locker is going to open up.

Stare at your hands for a bit, drawing slow-clap approval from Shawn Michaels, jump to RAW or SmackDown, and kick whoever the champ is in the shin.

Sorted.
