10 MORE Wrestlers Who Hated Working Together

3. Bret Hart & Vader

Big Van Vader is generally regarded among the best 'big men' of all time, but he wasn't particularly easy to work with. A notoriously stiff worker, the former WCW and AJPW Triple Crown Champion's hard-hitting, smashmouth style was a huge part of his success, but often left his opponents battered, bruised, and beaten up.

Countless wrestlers complained about this over the years, including the likes of Sting, but Bret Hart didn't enjoy working with 'The Mastodon' for a different reason: his hygiene.

As 'The Hitman' so eloquently put it himself, "it was like wrestling a cement truck filled with barf. He smelled like throw-up." Granted, Hart often comes across like the most bitter man in wrestling these days, but Sting has corroborated the story, claiming Vader's gear was so funky he wanted to hurl every time they wrestled together.

Bret has also echoed the complaints on Vader's stiffness, and stated that he never felt safe in the ring with the big man. Shawn Michaels had notable issues working alongside Vader too, though his were mostly political. Regardless, having heat with the company's two top guys likely contributed to his flopped WWE run.
