10 More WWE Stars Who Desperately Need New Gimmicks

6. Max Dupri

Vince McMahon reportedly blamed LA Knight for fudging his Maximum Male Models intro and removed the renamed Max Dupri from the gimmick. Then, just like that, WWE returned Dupri to the side of Mace and Mansoor but kept their hastily-introduced Maxxine complement too.

That gimmick ain't big enough for the both of them.

It feels messy to effectively have two managers fawning over the same tag-team, and the former Sophia Cromwell is probably a better fit for MMM than Dupri. His run as smart-arsed jock Knight on NXT was vastly superior to anything this repackage job has achieved thus far; the man has charisma, but he's jousting for house room in a now-crowded act.

Going forwards, it'd be for the best if Maxxine assumed full control of the Models and sent her kayfabe brother packing. Then, at some point, Max can turn back into LA and start working matches again. He'd be a credit to Raw or SmackDown in-ring.
