Taking a substantial cut in pay to get out of his contract with AOL/Time Warner and join the company, Diamond Dallas Page must have really wanted to work for the WWF. Coming in as part of the 'Invasion' saga, he was stripped of his WCW gimmick and recast as a heel stalker, specifically targeting The Undertaker's wife.

Most wrestling fans knew that Page was married to the smoking hot Kimberly Page at that point, making the whole scenario hard to stomach from the get go. Nonetheless, DDP revealed himself as the stalker before the King Of The Ring, before challenging 'Taker to "make me famous" on the pay-per-view.

What resulted was a short brawl, during which Page was only granted a few steel chair shots on 'The Deadman'. He was completely put in his place by Undertaker, ruining any chance he'd have of becoming a headliner in the WWF.

For those who had watched WCW for years, it was peculiar to see the popular Page cast in such an oddball role. He came across like a mid-level enhancement talent, not one of WCW's biggest stars.
