It makes sense that WWF/WWE talent have enjoyed fooling around during promotional photo shoots in the past. This is still something that probably goes on, because having a laugh whilst snapping photographs isn't something that's exclusive to wrestling. However, just what in the heck is going on here? The Kat, Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle and Rikishi are all involved. Given the fact that there is a tug of war rope on the set, it's likely that this was supposed to happen and isn't some kind of bizarre example of wrestlers messing around. After all, where on earth would they get such an item from if it wasn't supposed to be used in the shoot? It looks like this snap was taken in the year 2000, a time during which some of the wrestlers featured were on opposite sides of the babyface and heel divide. The tug of war image isn't alone, the one above also shows The Kat and Jericho demonstrating some arm wrestling. This is truly strange, because the pair were never really shown together on television at all. The question must be posed, why were these pictures taken? They're some of the most kooky WWE promotional pictures in history.
