2. Ronda Rousey

Teaming with real-life pal Shayna Baszler and winning the Women's Tag gold should've been a step in the right direction for ex-MMA badass Ronda Rousey. Instead, the pair experienced a short run as champs then splintered for a feud that ended with one of the least-impressive SummerSlam matches of all time.

After that, Ronda left WWE and subsequently announced her retirement via Instagram in October.

Ronda has since shown up in ROH and on the indies, but this was an abrupt end to pro wrestling life for Rousey. She never actually appeared too in love with the industry anyway. That came across loudly to many fans watching, which is why those people refused to accept Ronda as one of their own. Her outspoken nature made it clear she wasn't keen to be accepted anyway.

Rousey used to be one of the most dangerous and captivating talents in the biz, but those days were long gone by the time calendars turned to 2023. Wonky, stilted promos and unimpressive matches clashed to make 'Rowdy' Ronda one of the most boring around.
