10 Most Brutal Acts Of Wrestling Revenge

7. Annihilation

Annihilating a fellow performer at the slightest hint of advancement? That's so American Badass!

Happily, this was a mere storyline transgression, and not the aptly-named Mark Callaway working himself into a shoot at the sight of Diamond Dallas Page simply turning up to work in a different place.

In a would-be star-making moment, Maven of Tough Enough fame eliminated the Undertaker from the 2002 Royal Rumble match. This annoyed 'Taker immensely. Maven showed off his athletic chops with the dropkick that sent 'Taker tumbling, but he quickly played the role of corpse. 'Taker absolutely creamed the poor bloke with a shotgun blast of an unprotected chair shot before leading him around the arena in a dance as old as time, or at least, the year 2000, in which he very much took to stepping on the toes of talent.

In fairness, we still remember this moment a decade and a half later. 'Taker gave Maven the rub...

...by smashing his bloodied face through a popcorn vending machine after marching him straight up the stairs like a naughty child.
