6. Chris Benoit VS Kevin Sullivan (Great American Bash 1996)
This is one of the more famous of the brawls in WCW history. These two would find themselves in a "life imitates art" scenario, where Sullivan's wife was also his valet, but she would be booked to leave Sullivan for Benoit on-screen... only to strike up a real relationship with Benoit and divorce Sullivan. In-ring, Benoit and Sullivan were two of the most intense performers in the history of wrestling, so you were guaranteed some fireworks, even before their real hatred (at least on Sullivan's part) began. To say they fought all over the arena here would be an understatement. In the ring? At ringside? In the crowd? Up the stairs? Up to the arena concourse, where people buy merchandise and refreshments? Into a public restroom, with crowds of people cheering them on? All over the arena. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5klqe_chris-benoit-vs-kevin-sullivan-grea_sport Dusty Rhodes' over-excited commentary is usually what gets remembered more than anything else from this match, but that does a disservice to everything Benoit and Sullivan did. They went out for ten minutes and looked like they wanted to send one another to the hospital, and it came across very well on television.
