10 Most Controversial Wrestling Tweets Ever

5. Cody Kills A Man

If you have a particularly cruel algorithm, or follow the wrong Twitter accounts, you might hear Disco Inferno offer his thoughts on AEW Dynamite. He absolutely f*cking hates it.

Hates the booking, They're killing every guy they have. Every development is met with wilful - some might even call it cynical! - confusion.

Is it because the emergence of AEW appears to have at last shuttered the conversation on the Monday Night Wars, and Disco and his ilk are finally fading into view? Or is it - could it just possibly be - that Cody incinerated what was left of his corpse with a cackle on Twitter in 2018?

Noted strong style practitioner...Cody, who doesn't work and get massively over a style antithetical to the norm or anything, was buried by Disco following NJPW Sakura Genesis. Cody caught a nasty kick to the eye, in a very these-things-happen deal, which Disco used as an excuse to open up another, dreary conversation about how wrestling was far safer when everybody was getting CTE.

Cody scorched him, likely hasn't thought much of it since, and Disco, quite clearly, hasn't forgotten.
