4. The Powerbomb

The Powerbomb is of the most impressive and devastating wrestling moves in all wrestling. Because few other moves demonstrate power and domination more than this one, it was the perfect move for strong wrestlers and larger athletes to demonstrate their brutality in the ring, and when used, it's virtually guaranteed to result in a three-count.

Furthermore, using this move does go a long way in showing a wrestler’s skill and ability to perform risky moves safely, which can only lead to better matches down the road. It also does wonders in getting crowds to their feet; it’s impossible to count how many times during a competitive match one wrestler used a Powerbomb as a big maneuver and got a huge reaction from both the crowd and the commentators.

As a result, you’ve got a myriad of wrestlers using either one Powerbomb variation or another, from the lightest cruiserweights to the strongest heavyweights. In fact, virtually every major star in WWE, WCW and in Japan has adopted the Powerbomb as a move they used: John Cena, Batista, Eddie Guerrero, Seth Rollins, Chris Benoit, Jushin Liger, Ultimo Dragon, the Undertaker, Sycho Sid, Vader, and many more have used this move as a finisher.

That isn’t because they weren’t creative in their move-sets; after all, some of those men came up with many different moves. They just knew that there was a simple way to show power, and the Powerbomb does that best.
