10 Most Dangerous Wrestling Spots Of 2020
6. Shinsuke Nakamura Doesn't Hit The Right Note - Friday Night SmackDown On FOX (February 22)
In one of the last editions of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX before mass gatherings became a strict no-no in March, fans of WWE's blue show were treated to one of the most unexpectedly brutal encounters of the year.
During the first of two Symphony of Destruction matches which would go down in 2020, Braun Strowman teamed up with Elias to battle against Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro. Though it's easy to dismiss this ridiculous match type as nothing more than a way to shoehorn Elias' guitar into a bout, the ensuing chaos is always semi-entertaining, and this version eventually gave us one of the most sickening spots of the year.
After guitar shots, cowbell strikes, and Kinshasas into gongs, Nakamura finally found himself draped over the Monster Among Men's shoulder. Yet, instead of nailing the former NXT Champion into the canvas with his signature running power slam, Strowman decided to send Nakamura straight through a piano.
Only, the sturdy instrument didn't actually break.
This meant that Nak's body was firmly sandwiched between a monster and a hard place, with the star legitimately cracking his head open on the piano. Don't worry, though, Nakamura is one tough cookie, and was back kneeing faces in no time.
