10 Most Decorated WWE Factions Ever

1. The Alliance

I know, I know, it is a depressingly underwhelming way to finish this list, but despite the fact it is a technicality The Alliance is the most decorated faction in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment. They are helped enormously by the fact they brought a load of titles into the company, and also that pretty much half the roster was aligned with them at some point. The Invasion era also saw titles change hands regularly, resulting in many title reigns on both sides.

Still, if we include the titles they brought in The Alliance sits pretty with 27 championship reigns in their four month tenure. The Alliance brought the WCW World Heavyweight, Cruiserweight, United States and Tag Team Championships into the WWF, surprisingly deciding not to bring in the Cruiserweight Tag Team Championships.

The group won every male title available in the company at some point. There were European Championship reigns for The Hurricane and Christian, Intercontinental Championship runs for Lance Storm, Christian and Test, Hardcore wins for Mike Awesome and Rob Van Dam (three times), tag success for the Dudley Boyz (five), DDP & Kanyon and Booker T & Test.

The Hurricane (then Gregory Helms) and Billy Kidman shared three WCW Cruiserweight reigns between them, Palumbo & O'Haire carried WCW tag gold, Booker T, Kanyon (who better?) and Rhyno captured the United States Championship too. The top belts were held by Booker T (twice) and Stone Cold Steve Austin (twice) himself, who was quite wrongly positioned as the head of the group.

A depressing technicality, but a fact nonetheless: The Alliance were the most decorated faction in WWE history.

Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
