10 Most Dominant WWE Women's Champions

1. Charlotte Flair - 948 Days

She may predictably find herself at the top of this list, but has Charlotte Flair ever truly dominated the divisions she has found herself in? Her title reigns have passed viewers by in the blink of an eye, piled one on top of the other in a quite bizarre attempt to style her as the modern-day female equivalent of her father, albeit achieved over a minuscule amount of time. It is almost as if Charlotte Flair has been booked by aliens who know only of title reigns, family lineage and blond hair, and nothing of the stylin' and profilin' that made Ric Flair the best to ever lace up a pair of boots.

But still, almost a thousand days as champion aren't to be sniffed at. Charlotte Flair is a bonafide future Hall of Famer in achievements alone, such has been her prominence at the forefront of the women's wrestling revolution. The accolades speak for themselves; all of the championships available to her, a Royal Rumble, a Money in the Bank briefcase, a litany of firsts that include the first female Hell in a Cell match and the first female WrestleMania main event.

Achievements sit on paper, however. Dominance is something that exists above the whims of wrestling bookers. Has Charlotte Flair ever been the dominant force inside the ring? Her first few months on the main roster were the closest she has come, as she swept all before her in setting a record of pay-per-view wins that still impresses. The number of short title reigns since have only done damage to how she is perceived.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
