10 Most Dominant WWE Women's Champions

6. Shayna Baszler - 548 Days

The first-ever two-time NXT Women's Champion, Shayna Baszler was dominant in a whole variety of ways. Her mental and physical dominance over the rest of the roster was a point of difference from the get-go; her first real NXT feud was based around Dakota Kai being terrified of her. Baszler won the title from Ember Moon by technical knockout, and nothing says 'dominant competitor' than winning your matches by referee stoppage.

Baszler's first reign lasted 133 days before she dropped the title to Kairi Sane, with whom she had a much-celebrated rivalry in NXT. The two had fantastic chemistry from the get-go, a feud that began in the final of the inaugural Mae Young Classic and continued onto the yellow brand. Baszler eventually got her revenge by dethroning Sane and becoming the aforementioned first two-time champ, embarking on a second reign that was even more dominant than the first.

It lasted 416 days, coming within a couple of months of passing Asuka's previous record, a number that most fans presumed would never be touched. Baszler vanquished all who came before her, defeating Io Shirai, Candice LeRae, Mia Yim, Bianca Belair and plenty more before dropping the title to Rhea Ripley in December 2019.

Baszler is yet to win singles gold on the main roster but it is only a matter of time before that changes. Rumour has it that Vince McMahon isn't a fan of the Queen of Spades, but it'll take more than that to stop one of the most dominant forces in today's WWE.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
