As far chaos goes, Sami Callihan is something of an artist.
He looks mean, he talks mean, and his actions are meaner still. Just a quick search of his resume will give you an indication that his talent for being a bastard extends beyond the ring. And yes, reality and fiction get blurry as hell. Take his nightmarish split from Major League Wrestling, and the resulting mouth projectile on Jim Cornette, as your point of reference. He also started a fight with security at an AAW show, almost got shot, and nearly sparked a riot.
Kayfabe or not, these play well into his character. On the basis of his Impact Wrestling promos, Callihan appears not totally devoid of morals, but is also too damn savage to manifest his convictions in any way other than cruelty. His venom towards the wrestling industry as a whole is potent.
Perhaps fans agree with him, or maybe they're too scared to disagree.
He is currently finding the time to irritate the hell out of Rob Van Dam. One guesses he isn't quite done with the world yet.
