It was great to see so many old faces return for the first ever women's Royal Rumble, and the presence of pioneers like Lita and Trish Stratus helped make the bout a fun trip through the division's past, present, and future. The aforementioned duo were hits, as was Michelle McCool, but Kelly Kelly? Not so much.

The former Divas Champion was never exactly known for her in-ring finesse, and unfortunately lived up to her reputation in the battle royal itself. She was granted just one notable spot - a running headscissor takedown on McCool. A fast, fluid, eye-catching move when hit perfectly, but a physics-defying disaster when not.

Kelly's first mistake was coming off the ropes with too little momentum. She then struggled to complete the headscissor, forcing Michelle to awkwardly hold her in place while she adjusted. Then, McCool was left twirling herself around in slow motion while Kelly dangled, before they both fell to the mat unceremoniously.

It was but a small part of one of the year's longest matches, but way too clunky for anyone watching to ever forget.
