7. Steve Austin Gets All Tangled Up
Perhaps it's best to let Triple H explain what happened to one Steve Austin back at SummerSlam 1999. The gruff and tough 'Texas Rattlesnake' had quite the run-in with some ring ropes when his knee brace got tangled in them. Hunter, who was one of Steve's rivals for the night, had to walk over and try to help.
Hilarious.
Austin got tangled in the ropes following a routine spot, then struggled to free himself as a pay-per-view main event raged on live without him. Sensing that his peer was in a spot of bother, Trips had to literally help Steve out out of the messy situation.
This whole drama didn't do much to sell Austin's tough guy persona. "Don't Trust Anybody"? Well, Steve had no choice but to trust 'The Game' at SummerSlam '99. Otherwise, he might still be there flapping around like an upturned turtle.
