Ever watched WWE programming and thought, 'Man, it's a good thing nobody else is sitting here with me'?

If the answer to that question is yes, then you've been burned by embarrassing moments before. It's not as if there aren't many to choose from; WWE's constant need to court controversy and get people talking demands they push the boundaries of good taste.

Maybe it was a celebrity who didn't know anything about the product making a fool of themselves on live TV, or perhaps it was a segment written solely to humiliate one of wrestling's greatest ever announcers. WWE have done their fair share of weird things over the years, and it's hard not to cringe when watching them back.

Raw is a hotbed of such embarrassment. As the flagship show, it's unfortunately where WWE's worst has aired in front of millions. Next time, do us a favour WWE: clue in anybody before they appear on your shows, otherwise we'll get more Jeremy Piven...

10. Roman Reigns Talks About 'Tater Tots' (Dec 7, 2015)

Roman Reigns

Watching Roman's promo on the latest Raw made it clear how far he has come on the mic. Reigns looked confident, composed and comfortable in front of a crowd who just love to boo him. Things haven't always been that way; there was a time when WWE's next big hope was told to quote Sylvester The Cat and talk about testicles.

As if the "snivelling little suck up, sell out full of sufferin' succotash, son" line wasn't cringeworthy enough earlier in the year, WWE commanded Reigns to make an idiot of himself all over again by the end of 2015. In trying to hype up an impending TLC match against Sheamus, creative apparently believed having Roman talk about the Irishman's nuts was the best way of going about it.

Saying he thought Irish dudes had "potatoes", Reigns then said Sheamus was "smuggling tater tots". Wow, talk about embarrassing: this was not the kind of nonsense a bad-ass babyface should have been spouting.

WWE somehow made succotash look witty by comparison.
