10 Most Entertaining WCW Cruiserweights Of All Time
8. Brian Pillman
Before the WCW Cruiserweight division became the domain of luchadores and ex-New Japan Pro Wrestling gaijin, light-heavyweight wrestling in WCW was dominated by Brian Pillman. Yes, this is the same Brian Pillman who was the "rogue Horseman," stabbed a fan in ECW, and was a "Loose Cannon" in WWE before his unfortunate 1997 demise. However, prior to that point, Pillman was an exceptional wrestler known for his springboard "Air Pillman" flying bodypress as well as being a more than capable in-ring technician. Setting a groundbreaking precedent wrestling the likes of Eddie Guerrero early in 1995, as well, his matches with New Japan legend Jushin "Thunder" Liger - even as far back as 1991 for the WCW World Light Heavyweight Championship - are still considered important, too.
