10 Most Feel-Good Title Wins In Wrestling

7. Jon Moxley (AEW Revolution 2020)

The Acclaimed AEW Tag-Team Titles

Jon Moxley's legendary AEW run has made him synonymous with the brand as he has arguably been the most valuable performer over its three-year existence. The former Dean Ambrose had been stigmatized as a limited performer during his WWE run, as the company never seemed to want to push him as the top guy alongside his former Shield stablemates Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.

Moxley surprised the wrestling world by appearing at the inaugural Double or Nothing in 2019, before participating in that year's G1 Climax where he asserted himself as one of the best wrestlers in the world. AEW's new show Dynamite launched later that year, where it was clear that the Cincinnati native was being positioned as 'Le Champion' Chris Jericho's successor for the world title.

The two faced off at Revolution 2020 after a great build that involved Moxley having to wear an eyepatch after he refused to join Jericho's Inner Circle, leading to the latter blinding his challenger with a spike. There was some concern about having the first two AEW champions be former WWE stars, but this turned out to be ridiculous in hindsight given how tremendous the title change was on the night.

The three-time AEW Champion's first reign remains the best in the company's history, as Jon Moxley carried the company throughout the early stages of the pandemic.
