10 Most Indestructible Wrestlers Of All Time

7. Vader

Vader Eye

Vader has made a reputation for being unbelievably tough. It takes a special kind of endurance to be able to move with quickness like his, despite weighing over 400 pounds. Such considerable weight must’ve put a major strain on his body, but he still kept wrestling in the same style, without slowing down for over fifteen years.

Of course, Vader has himself experienced many injuries over his career, especially to his knees. But still, he kept working, regardless of those roadblocks. His most infamous injury, however, demonstrated just how tough he was, as well as how committed he was to performing at the highest standard possible. When Stan Hansen his him in the face with his thumb, Vader’s eye popped out of its socket and was hanging on his cheek.

Under normal circumstances, or even for most wrestlers, that would lead to an immediate end to the match, and instant surgery. But Vader put his eye back in place by himself, taking only a few seconds to make sure he could keep it in place with his eyelid, and continued wrestling the notoriously stiff Texan.

Like others on this list, Vader is still technically considered an active wrestler, having not fully retired as of yet. Considering what his body has been put through over a thirty-year career, Vader might as well be called ‘the man who cannot be destroyed’.
