10 Most Indestructible Wrestlers Of All Time

6. Terry Funk

The highly-respected Terry Funk is arguably the wrestler with the greatest longevity. No matter how worn down his body gets, Funk finds some way to get back into the ring, even after multiple ‘official’ retirements. His dedication to wrestling must be either love for the business or being incapable of doing something else.

Whatever the case may be, there are very few wrestlers who can say that they’ve been wrestling for fifty years, but Terry Funk certainly can. He has wrestled in multiple different eras and around the world, in a wide variety of different matches. His tenacity and determination to keep performing make him one of the most respected wrestlers on the planet.

If that wasn’t enough to show that he’s indestructible, at ECW One Night Stand 2006, Mick Foley hit him in the eye with a barbed wire 2x4, only for Funk to go backstage and return with his eye wrapped in a bloody cloth.

The man simply would not allow himself to leave the wrestling ring until a decision was made. Whether he was wrestling in the NWA, performing hardcore stunts in ECW and on the independent scene, or working in notoriously stiff matches in Japan, nothing deterred Terry Funk from pro wrestling.

There may never be a wrestler as determined and with such incredible longevity as him.
