10 Most Indestructible Wrestlers Of All Time

2. Sabu

When someone is described as ‘homicidal, suicidal, genocidal and death-defying’, it’s expected that they live up to that moniker. Sabu did without a doubt. Despite being described as a ‘sloppy’ wrestler at times (and having his own special edition of Botchamania), Sabu is a notoriously tough man whose commitment to wrestling is seemingly unparalleled.

In particular, Sabu once suffered a serious jaw injury during a match, but instead of ending the match, he taped his jaw and continued. He did the same thing when he botched a spot involving barbed wire ring ropes, and suffered a serious gash on his biceps. But being the hard man that he was, Sabu taped his injury and went back to wrestling.

Then, of course, there’s his neck injury he suffered at the hands of Chris Benoit. Sabu landed face-first on the mat with a sickening thud. But that wouldn’t be the only time he’d break his neck, as the same thing would happen in 1998, but Sabu would wrestle in Japan within two weeks of getting injured.

Like others on this list, Sabu kept wrestling through his injuries and kept performing his signature moves as though nothing was wrong. The man is toughness incarnate, as demonstrated by his continuing career in the squared circle.
