8. The New World Order Faces Off With D-Generation X At WrestleMania
Triple H's match with Sting at WrestleMania was memorable just because it was Sting's first match in WWE. A lot of people didn't think that would ever happen, so that part of it alone was very historic. The parts of the match that were really memorable were when some unexpected guests showed up. When Sting had Hunter in the Scorpion Death Lock, the New Age Outlaws and X-Pac ran down to the ring to interfere. Sting even hit a cross body block to take them out. Sting got some help with the New World Order trio of Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall slowly walking down to the ring. They got involved with DX at ringside with Hall even taking a back body drop outside the ring. There were all kinds of things going on outside the ring, which led to Shawn Michaels sneaking into the ring to nail Sting with a Superkick. Now that would have been a dream match! In the end, Triple H got the win and they did a handshake post match. When it was over, what people were talking about the most was the NWO vs. DX schmozz that took place during the match. It's another one of those "WrestleMania moments" that WWE loves talking about all the time when it comes to their signature event.
