In spite of the ugly energy during Vince McMahon's hostile return, the mega-money deal with Endeavor to bring WWE and UFC under one roof didn't result in the ex-Chairman getting his grubby fingers back on the book.

Remarkably, it was somehow the exact opposite.

When the deal was first done, Endeavor CEO Ari Emmanuel had made it clear just how important McMahon was to the historic deal. Months later and with the wrestling side of the business absolutely booming, it was reported that the top dog didn't believe that the disgraced ex-WWE chief's best place would be in a position to change plans on Raw every week.

As good as gone from the creative process (for now at least), those thoroughly enjoying WWE's impressive output in 2023 were able to breathe a little easier that McMahon theoretically couldn't drop a bomb on the various plans that have clearly been put in place.
