3. Scissor Sisters: Arn Anderson Vs. Sid Vicious
What do you know, more wrestlers fighting at hotels and this one’s a doozy. In 1993, on a WCW tour of Germany, Arn Anderson found himself squaring off against Sid Vicious in the hotel bar. Insults went back and forth and eventually a beer was thrown but no bumps were taken as they got split up and everyone decided to call it a night.
Except Sid.
The 'Sycho' went to Arn’s room to confront him but Arn was prepared: he had armed himself with a pair of scissors and he didn't hesitate to use them. Sid was stabbed in the gut by Arn and the brawl began. A blazed out Too Cold Scorpio in a towel was the only wrestler to leave his room and investigate. He describes the scene of the hallway as a bloody mess.
When he finally came upon the two, Sid had a fallen Arn by the hair, repeatedly stabbing his torso and kicking him in the face. Finally the ambulance and police came and took the two men away. Sid refused to press charges out of guilt for how badly he messed up Arn.
The aftermath: They were both deported from Germany and Turner almost shut the tour down. Anderson suffered 20 stab wounds and was suspended. Sid was stabbed four times and needed exploratory surgery to assess the damage done, and he was ultimately fired by WCW.
