10 Most Over WCW Tag-Teams Ever

6. The Road Warriors

There's a simple reason why The Road Warriors aren't much higher on this list, they really didn't spend all that much time in World Championship Wrestling. The lineage of Hawk and Animal can be traced back to the glory days of the old NWA, but the team only spent a few years in total under the actual WCW banner.

Still, during that short period the future Legion Of Doom would capture the WCW Tag-Team Titles. In addition to that, they were already established as a killer tag-team by 1988, so it wasn't uncommon to hear fans go absolutely crazy whenever they appeared. It's not difficult to see why Vince McMahon was interested in bringing the duo to the WWF in the early-1990's.

In WCW, The Road Warriors put together good matches against the likes of The Varsity Club and The Steiner Brothers. Known for their power-based in-ring style, Hawk and Animal could have been even more successful in WCW had they stuck around. Alas, they were never going to turn down the opportunity to see what they could achieve in the WWF.
