10 Most Pathetic Wrestling Insults Of All Time

8. Roman Regns Is Instructed In The Ways Of Getting Over

A genuine bond with the crowd, the ability to move numbers in a positive direction, and an undeniable star power.

You'd think those things were the minimum requirement for getting over as a main event-level star, but there was no competition in the mid-2010s, so go f*ck yourself. The guy who got the hot tag in the Shield, and was thus guaranteed to get a pop by meticulous design, was received by WWE as the biggest star of the act in a display of confirmation bias. That's not to state that Roman had nothing about him - he's an amazing, major league performer in 2022, able to tell compelling stories using only his quite brilliant face - but back then, he was forced into a terribly unflattering role.

A good body, incredibly suspect contact lenses that don't get talked about enough, and alliteration.

That's more like it, pal!

Roman Reigns had to say "You're nothing but a snivelling sell-out suck-up full of sufferin' succotash, son!" to Seth Rollins because Vince McMahon literally turned into Mr. Burns by the end.

To reiterate: Vince McMahon was so drastically out of touch that he thought referencing a cartoon character that debuted in the 1940s was going to get Roman Reigns over.
