10 Most Pathetic Wrestling Insults Of All Time

9. Ember Moon's Main Roster Run Did Not Go Well

On the subject "Huh, more like..." patter, a brief explanation follows.

A strange and bad WWE promo template sees the gloating heel performer say something along the lines of, with no credibility, "I should be the real champ".

Then, the wise-cracking babyface will retort "Champ? More like chump".

Obviously, this is just a particularly silly theoretical example of a typical exchange. Also, it's something that Ricochet literally said on television.

In the summer of 2019, Ember Moon was taunted by the heel duo of Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. The storyline, thin as it was, saw Mandy and Sonya belittle Ember for being a geek in their glamorous world. They broke her Nintendo Switch backstage and then, a week later, to promote her Muscle & Fitness HERS cover, she paraded the mag in front of Ember. "Take a look at a real superhero, honey" Mandy said.

"Superhero?" Ember responded. "More like supervillain."

This might be the most cringe-worthy retort in recorded history, Jesus wept. If absolutely nothing else, in addition to this being godawful wordplay, the insult was so horrendous that it worked its way to being a compliment.

"You're a really good heel!" is what she effectively said.
