8. LA Knight
The former Eli Drake emerged on NXT in 2021 with a substantial amount of fanfare, introducing himself as LA Knight with a promo that immediately set him apart as a chiseled, handsome man who you’d simply love to thump in the face, given the chance.
Knight falls into the same category of handsome man as Randy Orton or a young Cody Rhodes. While the traditional heroic male lead is, of course, a dreamboat, these men are handsome to such an aggressive degree that you can’t help but hate them. It’s a matter of petty jealousy, of course it is, but the sheer privileged alpha genes of an LA Knight makes a lesser man want to swing for him just to gain a little justice in this cruel world.
He hasn’t helped himself with his behaviour, either. His main programme has been a decent feud with Cameron Grimes, one of the most cartoonishly delightful performers on NXT. He won the Million Dollar Championship (which looked annoyingly natural over his shoulder), and then turned on Ted DiBiase. That man is a WWE legend and an actual pastor - for shame!
