This here writer has already battered WWE with a crap-covered stick for daring to make The Great Khali their second coming of The Giant González in 2006. Without re-treading over that particular quicksand or going back on his word, it'd be remiss not to point out that Khali's post-WrestleMania 22 debut was a head-turner.

The big lunk was seven feet tall and looked like a traditional 'Taker monster, after all.

On the 7 April edition of SmackDown, Khali destroyed 'The Deadman' by squeezing his head like a teen might squeeze a pimple. As he did, the announce team worked their magic by doing everything in their power to sell this giant Indian as the largest man they'd ever seen. He was definitely the biggest threat to The Undertaker. Definitely.

As touched upon earlier, there's a great chance this sort of thing would be used on Raw nowadays instead. Major debuts such as this (happening shortly after the biggest show of the year, no less) don't exactly make it to Tuesdays before WWE pull the trigger. They did in '06.
