Most of you wont know who Slate Randall is. Hes a pretty good looking fella who was in WWEs developmental system until August 1st, when he was quietly released from his contract. He was in phenomenal physical condition, is a pretty good wrestler from most accounts and had a lot of what it takes to be a star in the WWE. Needless to say it was a surprise to hear he was quietly released from his developmental deal, considering he had the look, ability, and if the YouTube footage of him from his days on the indies is any indication, the charisma and promo skills that the WWE is looking for. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_a0AW4cHWk What makes it even more surprising is that the guy was the last superstar to be managed by the late Paul Bearer, which most thought was certainly a big positive for his future in the WWE. If that wasnt enough, he was a contestant on The Rocks TNT reality show The Hero. Slate Randall, from several insider accounts had a lot going for him, so his release in August, while in the grand scheme of things went unnoticed, was certainly a surprising one. Maybe the WWE had a surplus of good looking Hollywood style guys under contract.
