10 Most Shocking WWE Wellness Policy Violations
3. Eva Marie
Eva Marie's initial run on the main roster was a disaster but her time in NXT saw the Total Divas star really turn things around and a repackaging of sorts after she was drafted to SmackDown pointed to a bright future for the eye-catching redhead. For weeks, WWE brought her out to the ring to tease fans and insult her fellow competitors and it was a gimmick which definitely seemed to be getting over.
Alas, in the midst of that, Marie was suspended for thirty days in 2016 and ended up missing her big return match at SummerSlam (where she was replaced by a returning Nikki Bella). WWE was clearly furious at the up and comer, and she was never seen on television again.
Later, Marie would claim that she tested positive for Adderall and had a prescription for the medication but was too late submitting the paperwork. It was a costly mistake that ended what could have been a promising career in the squared circle. Still, she always seemed more interested in outside job opportunities so her release from WWE in 2017 wasn't exactly mind-blowing.
