10 Most Stacked Cards In UFC History

9. UFC 92 (2008)

When you promote your PPV as 'The Ultimate' Ultimate Fighting Championship event, you sure as hell better deliver.

Thankfully, UFC 92 did exactly that.

It didn't matter that the prelims didn't really possess many names worth writing home about because this night was all about the main card.

Three of the biggest fights in the company's history at that time all took place on this fateful night in the Grand Garden Arena.

First up you had Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson taking on the legendary Wanderlei Silva - in the blow-off contest for their PRIDE-based series - with the former walking away with a KO victory via vicious left hook inside the first round and avenging his two losses to Silva.

Then we saw Frank Mir knock off Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira, thus claiming the belt and setting up the aforementioned UFC 100 clash with Brock Lesnar for all the marbles.

Finally, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Forrest Griffin took on Rashad Evans in the main event, with the challenger walking out of the arena with the belt after the champ was shockingly finished on his back in the third.

It may not have been fight after fight of star-studded quality, but those three wars alone more than justify this card's placement on this list.
