At just 32 years old, fans may be quick to forget that Zelina Vega made her television debut for TNA all the way back in 2011. As the kayfabe cousin of Sarita, Rosita debuted 12 years ago and quickly won the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championships. This led to the formation of the Mexican America stable with the tag champs being joined by Hernandez and Anarquia. While the group was not long for TNA, it was just the beginning for the real life Thea Trinidad.

After six years away from a major promotion, Zelina Vega arrived on NXT television, becoming the driving force behind Andrade Almas' rise to the NXT Championship. The two then transitioned to the main roster, unfortunately not finding the same success they had on the black and gold brand. This inevitably led to the duo being released within four months of each other. Vega thankfully found her way back to WWE, shockingly becoming the first ever winner of the Queen's Crown Tournament in Saudi Arabia.

Queen Zelina was able to parlay that win into a reign as WWE Women's Tag Team Champion alongside unlikely partner Carmella. The Queen was able to bring consistency to the championships, something that has been missing since their inception. An injury sidelined Vega for a large chunk of 2022 before recently returning as the mouthpiece for Santos Escobar and Legado Del Fantasma. Amongst a crowded women's division in WWE, Zelina Vega has proven herself one of the most well rounded members of the women's roster, capable of making the best of whatever is given to her.
