9. Daniel Bryan vs. Mark Henry (SmackDown; Nov. 29, 2011)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxMXg2VGqZA Daniel Bryan shocked the world when he won the Money in the Bank briefcase at the critically-acclaimed July 2011 pay-per-view, ensuring himself a future world title shot. But what fans don't remember is that he was sporadically on WWE TV while he was in possession of the championship contract. He didn't wrestle at Night of Champions, Hell in a Cell, Vengeance or Survivor Series. On the edition of SmackDown following Survivor Series, however, Bryan was determined to make an impact by cashing in Money in the Bank ahead of when he said he would at WrestleMania 28 on a wounded Mark Henry. When the cash-in was null and void, he had to earn a title shot instead by winning a Fatal 4-Way No. 1 Contender's match that same night. The next week, he and Henry squared off for the World Heavyweight Championship with the winner advancing to TLC to defend against Big Show. To prevent interference from Show or anyone else, a steel cage surrounded the ring. Not only did it keep intruders out, but it kept Bryan within close proximity of the dangerous World's Strongest Man. He ended up faring better than fans could have expected, but his best wasn't enough as he was flattened with a World's Strongest Slam off the top for Henry to retain his title. Bryan went on to win the prestigious prize a few short weeks later at TLC.
