10 Most Underrated Wrestlers In The World Today

3. Karl Anderson

It's impossible for Karl Anderson to show the full extent of his abilities in his current role. He and Luke Gallows wrestle frequently, but they've become also-rans in Raw's tag division, and that won't change with teams like The Hardy Boyz and Sheamus & Cesaro around. Their job is primarily to put the other duos over, and while they do this well, they'll never stand out in this role.

While Gallows is a limited wrestler, Anderson is not. A 15-year veteran, he's an excellent brawler and a capable technician, who, when allowed to be himself on the microphone, can cut one hell of a promo. He's much better than the goofy lower tier heel WWE want him to play, but they're never going to push him as a strong singles act.

For proof of Anderson's undeniable in-ring quality, go back to his stunning match with Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW New Beginning 2013, his two bouts with Kazuchika Okada in 2012, or his G1 Climax 24 match with Tetsuya Naito. The man's singles resume is impeccable, but he has been typecast as a tag wrestler. He's fine in this role too, but the aforementioned matches demonstrate that he's capable of so much more.
