10 Most Underrated WWE PPV Main Events Of The 2000s

6. Booker T Vs. Bobby Lashley Vs. Batista Vs. Finlay - No Mercy 2006

Smackdown produced another cracker at No Mercy 2006. The event had a bunch of great matches, including Chris Benoit's hard-hitting war with William Regal (Benoit's return after a four month long sabbatical) and a couple of really fun matches on the undercard. The main event pitted the ridiculously entertaining World Heavyweight Champion King Booker against his sometimes ally Finlay, real-life opponent Batista and the promising-but-still-green Lashley. It was an intriguing match, one that could have either completely fallen apart or been great. Thankfully, it was the latter. The four men had excelled in different combinations of singles and tag matches the entire year and showed that they could produce when put together in a pay-per-view main event. Finlay carried the action as the wild card of the match and it was nice to see a fresh face in the top-liner for a change. The home stretch, with everyone hitting their finishers amid a flurry of close near-falls, is excellent.
