10 Most Underrated WWE Promos From The Last Decade

3. The Miz Fits Two Promos In One

It's not exactly earth-shattering news that The Miz has and will probably always have his fair share of critics. Perhaps it's because ol' Mike Mizanin took the unorthodox route to the WWE through reality television, or perhaps it's because he has a face you'd like to rearrange with an arsenal of melons. Either way, The Miz has never quite been able to win over the majority of the crowd, not matter how hard he or WWE have tried. However, there was arguably no hotter star in WWE than The Miz between his Money in the Bank victory in July of 2010 until he lost the WWE Championship in May of 2011, a feat that isn't to be brushed aside considering this was a time when John Cena and Randy Orton were still firmly on top. Rather than the high and mighty would-be Hollywood actor we see today, this was The Miz at his absolute cockiest, and it was... aaaaaaaawesooo - yeah, you get the cheap joke. The Miz cut a number of great promos over this period, especially after he captured the WWE Championship, and interactions like this example are unfortunately often forgotten due to the inexplicable stigma. Miz caught fire on the mic that night, and the promo only got better when a scrawny, clean-shaven Daniel Bryan got involved with some dorky one-liners to tug at our ailing heartstrings. And Alex Riley was there. You liked him once, maybe. Check it out below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFRIp3OKCfo

Overly-opinionated Australian WWE smark who is definitely not #booty. Slowly angering the IWC one article at a time. We will probably strongly dislike each other - let's be friends! @MattKMarsden
