10 Most Underrated WWE SummerSlam Matches Of All Time

8. Tag Team Titles: The Steiner Brothers vs. The Heavenly Bodies - 1993

The Steiner Brothers were a great babyface tag team that were more known for their NWA/WCW run than they were for being a WWE team, but there's no denying the talent that Rick and Scott had. They were collegiate wrestlers who could have good matches with anybody because of their natural talent. The Heavenly Bodies were the heel challengers comprised of Jimmy del Ray and Tom Prichard with Jim Cornette as their manager. Fans knew Cornette as the Midnight Express manager in the NWA, but they didn't bring them into WWE so they gave him a different team to manage. It was a cool match because it took place in Michigan where the Steiners were from, so they got one of the loudest ovations of their WWE careers. The match was a hard hitting, fast paced tag match with Scott getting worked over for his team. When Rick got the hot tag the place exploded and the Steiners cleaned house. It looked like Rick had the match won with a bulldog off the top rope and then a powerslam, but Cornette interfered. For the finish, the Steiners ended up coming back with Scott hitting a Frankensteiner (hurricanrana) and Rick covered for the win. That move became a regular thing in so many matches over the years, but in 1993 it was considered a big deal. Scott Steiner is the one that made it popular in American wrestling.
