10 Most Unprofessional Performances In AEW History

9. Ivelisse Downs Tools

A parent would much rather their toddler scream down the house than enter the dreaded mode of pure stillness.

At least when they’re cranky and overtired, a parent knows that the child will eventually surrender to sleep. That, or they’ll eventually concede that they’re hungry. When they enter a stubborn state of virtual catatonia, oh boy. You can’t do anything.

Parents worldwide knew the feeling when Thunder Rosa attempted to apply a seated full nelson on Ivelisse on the September 10, 2020 Dynamite. After a deeply awkward and stiff affair, Ivelisse simply stopped working. She sat there, with an incredibly apathetic expression on her face, staunchly refusing to do anything, much less convey that she was in a position of peril.

It’s one thing to refuse to do a job - but it’s quite another to refuse to do your job slap bang in the middle of a match.

She looked bored at the prospect of maintaining the illusion - in refusing to act out her profession, for those brief but damning moments, she literally epitomised the unprofessional.
