10 Most Well-Developed Characters In Wrestling Today

3. Sasha Banks

Whatever “it” is, Sasha Banks just has it, and she pretty much has from the off. Banks calls herself The Boss, wears daft sunglasses, and convinces full arenas that this is simply the natural order of things.

Banks has never portrayed a particularly down to earth character, but she brilliantly sells the notion that this is simply the way she is. Just as we’ve all met people with MJF levels of obnoxiousness, at times we’ll meet someone with an aura of pure charisma, and Banks is one of the lucky few blessed with such gifts.

She understands her wrestling persona to a tee - she’s not the biggest or strongest, but she’s the most cunning and/or hardest working, depending on her morality at the time. Her confidence is such that she never seems to be performing; she belongs on the grandest stages, and owns them completely.

The myriad heel/face turns help to build a gimmick that can’t really be summed up in a simple sentence; it’s a complex character that no one else could really play.
