The Ultimate Fighter series 17 winner Kelvin Gastelum (the youngest in the show's history) has had a rough time of it as of late.

However, if you look past his recent decision losses to Israel Adesanya and Darren Till (both worthy adversaries) and examine Gastelum's career before those slip-ups, you can see a fighter who possesses all the weapons necessary to make a serious mark on the Middleweight division.

With some of the heaviest hands in the division, Gastelum has lit up the likes of Tim Kennedy and Michael Bisping and showcased that explosive power in the majority of his UFC clashes. He also throws a hell of a kick!

So, with that calibre of striking in his arsenal, Gastelum would prove to be difficult to handle for most. Now factor in his black belt in Jiu-Jitsu and consistently strong wrestling game and you soon see why Gastelum has long been touted for big things in the future.

If he can get a few more top ten victories under his belt soon and continue to grow as a fighter (he's still just 28!) Gastelum could be staring down the likes of Adesanya and Till again before long.
