9. Death Triangle As Trios Champs
AEW crowned its first ever Trios Champions by sticking those new belts on The Elite at All Out. Now, mere days later, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks have been suspended and Tony Khan has new champs to crow about on social media - and he will crow about them, people.
PAC, Penta and Rey Fenix grabbed the gold in a fine spotfest of a match vs. Best Friends on Dynamite, and the entire Trios division will now revolve around Death Triangle. That, to be fair, wasn't a bad result after the All Out presser chaos and Elite suspension drama.
AEW moves on.
It'll be fun to see who Tony picks as chief rivals for Triangle going forwards though. He just burned through the Best Friends option, and House Of Black's future is right up in the air due to Malakai Black's "highly conditional" release.
Meh, at least the division has a fine threesome to build around.
