"Heeeeeeeey....hey Bayley!".

Cardiff's masses serenaded Bayley with that old singsong inside the Principality Stadium, and that had to feel good for her. Sure, the comeback queen is a heel, but there was a time when WWE casuals were far more likely to tell her to f*ck right off than anything else. She can empathise with Liv Morgan, basically.

Bright days are ahead for Bayley though. She scored the pin over reigning Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair in Clash's opening six-woman tag, and that means the Damage Control leader is heading for a title showdown soon. This is also good news for Bianca, because she badly needed a strong challenger.

Perhaps the best thing about Control is that Belair can burn through TV bouts vs. Dakota Kai and IYO SKY before tangling with Bayley at Extreme Rules. Screwy finishes in those might even give WWE the chance to set up a unique stip for October's show.
